Terms & Use

What this site is, what we promise, and what we ask of you — written for people, not lawyers.

What this is

Focus Immersion publishes free language reference layers — frequency lists, script guides, and character maps — compiled from public corpora and refined through machine-assisted review. The goal is to give independent learners a reliable starting point, not a definitive linguistic corpus.

All content is intended for personal educational use. The frequency lists represent a curated study aid, not an authoritative linguistic database. Frequency ranks are approximate and derived from broad-coverage sources; they reflect relative commonness, not an exact statistical position.

Accuracy & corrections

Content is compiled from public sources and refined through machine-assisted processing. Despite care in curation, lists may contain errors — misspellings, mis-tagged parts of speech, duplicate entries, or gaps. We review and correct issues as they are found and reported.

If you spot something wrong, we want to know. Send a note to hello@focusimmersion.com. Every correction that reaches us is reviewed.

No warranty

This site and its content are provided "as is" without any guarantee of fitness for a particular purpose. We make no representation that any list, guide, or tool is suitable for examination preparation, professional certification, or academic assessment.

Use the materials as one input among many. Consult authoritative dictionaries, graded readers, and qualified teachers for anything high-stakes.

How to use this

The lists and guides here are free for personal study. You are welcome to save pages for offline reference, print them, or share individual links with other learners.

Please do not scrape or redistribute the full datasets wholesale — especially not for commercial products, training data, or competing reference services. We invest real time in curation, correction, and formatting; wholesale reproduction undermines that work and harms the learners who rely on accurate data.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links to books and study materials are affiliate links. Full disclosure is on the privacy page. Affiliate relationships never influence which materials we recommend — we only link what we believe is genuinely useful to learners.
